Am I a good candidate?

This is one of our number one questions. There are many different factors involved in becoming a good candidate. One of the main ways to find out if you're a good candidate is by calculating your BMI. Remember, this is not a diagnosis. Please contact your physician for more information. As a good rule of thumb, a good candidate for the LAP-Band will have a BMI over 35 with applicable conditions or over 40 with no applicable conditions.
